No enlargement. I thought they'd be lighter =( From afar, you don't even notice them. Not very blue..WHAT COLOUR ARE THEY?! @_@; I wish the pupil hole was smaller. Okay comfort as well. Irritated abit after wearing it straight from the bottle but it felt okay. I have yet to wear these another time since I just got them today.

My friend's debut was on Saturday night. VERY stressful. =( I was there from 4-10:30 and it started at 7PM. Helped their family and the youth band set up and stuff. I definitely learned lots of things for my own debut :P Teehee.

But yeah. We performed pretty well. It's just that the way the instruments and the vocals came together was really off (according to my father) so sad face =( The girls group (meaning me and my friends. aka ASADAY) did a song and a "special" song. SR. Boys Basketball team totally pwned Waldorf today. 112-30. WOW. GOOD JOB BOYS!

SR. Girls has a game this Wednesday against Carver. I hope we do well despite not having practice this week >_<;


So I forgot my dad's house keys and room keys inside his room yesterday. I locked the door too. =( We didn't have any house keys since I didn't bring mine so we ended up borrowing my brother's. I felt really bad because my dad ended up taking the doorknob apart T__T; Poor daddy...

Now, whenever I close the door to his room, it feels weird because I reach for the knob but it isn't there. IT'S SO WEIRD!! TRY IT AND YOU'LL DEFINITELY FEEL THE DIFFERENCE.

I searched for my baby photos for the yearbook yesterday. I WAS SUCH A CUTE BABY x) teehee. teehee. I definitely looked like a boy in my early years and holy fuck, I was so white. WHAT HAPPENED T___T EFF. But yeah. Then I looked at my own father's photo albums and I started tearing up. He was so handsome and fit as a young man! Wow...haha! I love my daddy! <3


Ordered a pair of Adult Blues. I hope it looks light blue and gray more than lavender or purple on me n_n

Volunteered yesterday from 12PM-3PM @ a flu clinic. It was pretty boring =/ I just stood there directing people to which nurse to go to to get their shots done. But that's three down, seven more to go!

First basketball game on Tuesday and it's with a really good team! I'm so nervous, so scared but God will be there beside our team's side and we'll do really well! :D

Totally re-wrote my short story. Still not done yet. I should start working on it...

My new name is now Honey Pie =) But it's not really sticking so I might as well go back to being Izzy -__-;

Will get to doing a EOS Pure Brown review soon. Just need to remember to take pictures of it during day time since it's impossible to by the time I go home. Because here in Vancouver, the sun is already down by 4PM and I get home around 5-ish. So go figure. n_n It's really pretty though! Lighter than I thought actually...but yeah. I like the colour. =]

Need to go dress shopping soon for my friend's debut. Purple or yellow? WHICH ONE?! @_@;

Trip to Alberta = so fun. so awesome. so many memories with friends. *sigh*

My first official basketball practice = pretty fun. Learned lots and I need to keep learning to play better!

Got my EOS Pure Brown contacts today! Review coming up soon. One thing though is that they're lighter and show up more than I thought O_O

Short story due on Thursday. All I got is an ending. FUCK.

Still finding venues for my debut.

I'd really like to volunteer but all the flu clinics are during Fridays and Saturdays when I'm most busy @_@ WAHHHH.

Report cards soon...those are the marks I'll be entering in for university applications. DANGIT.

On the giving end, I'm fluent in Gifts. I can still speak Words of Affirmation, Physical Touch and Quality Time but not as strong as gifts. I can teach GSL =)!

On the receiving end, my main love language dialect is Quality Time. Words of Affirmation is my second language.

Where's Acts of Service?! It's in there. I'll work on it after I improve the ones that I already know.


In other news...

I hope to volunteer for a flu clinic and as a gift wrapper in Metrotown =)

Finally purchased EOS Pure Browns. Impulse buy n_n I hope they're a nice rich brown and won't make my eyes look black =_=

Basketball practice today! Was actually really fun. I didn't expect it to be the way that it was. I thought that there'd be more running but there wasn't. I learned two new drills that I could do at home! YES
a) jog. plant feet. pivot left up/down or right up/down.
b) jog. plant feet. touch ground w/ both hands. stay low. firefeet. arms up. side step to left/right

I'm so proud of myself that I got through it ^___^!! I think I might be playing a Guard position since our coach put me in that group during some shooting practice/drills. Hmmmmmm... But I must definitely work on my left hand dribbling and shooting. MUSCLE MEMORY FOR THE PROPER STANCE !!


In other news...

Nerd Day at my school today! Ironic thing was that during Math class, not that many people understood what was going on. And we were all nerds! haha. =P


STILL not finished cleaning my room =_=


Planning to buy a pair of Max Pure Grays since I want the noticeable gray colour and the effect looks REALLY pretty =) I plan to buy some blue ones before grad pictures too. If the colour isn't as noticeable for the grays then I'll be really sad =( Here's an ad for the Max Pure Gray.

Okay so I tried out the daily mask schedule thingy but it was a baaaaaaaaad idea. I broke out like crazy!! I didn't even bother taking pictures cause I forgot ^^;; Haha sorry. But yeah. DON'T DO WHAT I DID. Using stuff on your face almost every single day is VERY bad. Like...SO bad T_T; I wanted to cry cause of what I was doing to my face. So I stopped and my face went back to normal :D Yay! Now, I only stick to my Aspirin and Honey Mask every Tuesday and my Egg White Mask alternating with this Pineapple Peeling Gel from Skinfood every Thursday. Then I exfoliate on Saturday nights on the weeks where I used the Egg White Mask. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week ladies! Especially if you have alot of dead skin cells.

So a small skin update. Mm...ever since I started caring for it in September/October, it's gotten better. And by better I mean smoother and softer feeling. However, it doesn't look that way since I have scars all over my face and like T_T; I can't help but pick at it!! Grawrgh. So in short, it feels smooth and soft but looks totally deranged =( And I keep breaking out at my jawline. It's reallly bad. Nonetheless, my trip back to the Philippines will cure it all (hopefully) !!

So to cross off some stuff. Here's my GEO Nudy Brown and Nudy Gray review + pictures =)

GEO NUDY GRAY

This picture proves that light coloured eyes go well with pale skin and dark coloured hair =p


Colour: 7/10
I wish it came out lighter on me. I REALLY wanted a light light light gray but I guess my true eye colour is too dark =[

Comfort: 4/10
I could that it was there and it dried out my eyes really easily. I had to take them out in the middle of a movie ><; And just over-all, it wasn't good. Slid out and stuff.

Enlargement: 5/10
Compared to my dark lenses, these ones didn't seem to enlarge as much for me. Plus, I didn't get a halo.

Overall: 5/10
This pair is just not for me. It disappointed me on so many levels ><; I thought I'd like it alot but it turned out the complete opposite. I had to throw it out cause it hurt my eyes alot this one time so I didn't want to risk it and threw the pair away.


GEO NUDY BROWN

One eye felt like nothing was there. The other eye bothered me abit =( I checked it and it had a hole in it ><;;

Colour: 3/10
Yet again, it's disappointing. I wanted a brown-y gold-ish orange-type colour but all I got was a mix of forest greens and brown mud except uglier. I absolutely hated the colour. I bought it cause I thought it'd match my orange-ish hair but it did not. Highly disappointing.

Enlargement: 5/10
Same as GEO Nudy Gray

Overall: 5/10
The comfort brought it up but the colour kept it down. I threw it out cause of the tear. Not like I would've worn it alot anyway since the colour is so ugly =(


So there you have it. My GEO Nudy Gray and Brown review. I guess these lenses just are not for me. I don't get a halo and my eyes are naturally too dark. *sigh* Oh well. I'll find the pair that's right for me.

On another note, get ready for a photo-spam of myself as a blue-eyed blonde since tonight is my last night as Fireball =P


Went to the Richmond Night Market tonight with my nii-nii and auntie. All I did was eat and walk around xD;; I couldn't find anything that I wanted =/ Plus, I didn't have any money so I had to borrow some from my aunt x_x; Well, tis all!


P.S. I SAW KENN TONIGHT. HAHAHAHA XD; Yummy Papaya Salad dude =) Good job! And the fact that I didn't cause a scene (since I usually do [well, in my opinion at least. I think I'll look back to this night and think "Hmm...I didn't do anything that will scar Kenn or I for life. Awesome possum!!"] and I *think* I didn't. hopefully Kenn didn't either =X) makes me feel proud of myself :D

P.P.S. or is it P.S.S.? ANYWAY. Uhm, I bought me-self a Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink. It's really nice. Goes on easily but kind of hard to put on at times since it kinda smudges abit during the application process. But maybe that's cause my brush sucks XD; Probably why. Anyway, it's REALLY hard to take off. As in, homg. But then my mom's Estee Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover is really really good. Unfortunately, I knocked it down a few months ago and wasted half of what was left T___T; But yeah. BUY BOBBI BROWN GEL EYELINER LADIES. It's REALLY good. Price is less than 30$ but more than $25 cause of taxes. Rather pricy but really good. It'll take me a long time before I run out. =p

It's been more than a week of having opened these babies and it's time to review them officially! I posted the picture below on soompi as a mini-review so here's my more in-depth review of GEO CK-107.



Comfort - 7/10
My EOS Gold-Blacks are definitely more comfortable than my CK-107s. These lenses are more drying and irritating to my eyes and that frustrates me because I REALLY like how they look. I haven't used any eye drops since I don't have any but maybe if I buy some, the comfort level would go up at least one level. Also, maybe I need some time getting used to these lenses since they are pretty big. x)

Enlargement - 9/10
They're biiiiiiig and I love the big-ness! I'm at 90% to getting used to seeing myself with bigger eyes. Not completely there yet but I know I'm almost there. They're so big and dolly and I just love it! My next target would be the DM-23s after maybe 8 months into these lenses.

Design - 8/10
Without flash and extreme flash, they look almost the same as the EOS Gold-Blacks but the CK-107s are darker. Waaaay darker. I really like it x) I just wish that the little flame like gradient design thing going on is more visible cause if it were, it'd look sooo cool n_n But they're black lens and we buy them for the dolly effect, not the design haha.

Overall - 8/10
I just wish that they were more comfy T_T Then they'd be better lenses for me D: Must. Get. Used. To. Them. !! Cause I just love the effect o:

So I hope that I helped someone decide whether or not they want to get these lenses or not. They're pretty good so you should anyway :D

So I finally decided to join the bandwagon and try out Bio-Oil. I'll be updating my journal weekly starting tomorrow to keep track of my progress/epic phailing.

My current skin care routine right now is as follows:

Clinique 3-step system. Lol. I forgot the exact products but I'll upload pictures tomorrow. I've been using it for 6 months now and I must say that my skin has significantly improved over-all! I get break-outs when I begin to get my period but they go away afterwards. I really like my Clinique and I hope that with the addition of Bio-Oil, my skin will become better.

I also exfoliate my face with St. Ives Apricot Scrub twice each week and use the Aspirin Mask at least once a week (or I try to). If i were more consistent with my mask, maybe results will be sped up haha.


I wore my GEO CK-107s today. My E-GCs were more comfy lulz. I just need some time getting used to them and well, I wore them for 10-12 hours so yeah =_= I guess that's why. Also, I still can't get used to the fact that my eyes look so much bigger @_@ It's crazyyyyy. But yeah, with persistent use, I will definitely get used to them! Then maybe I'll move on to Dueba DM-23 Browns and have HUUUGE eyes x)

So I gots me two guys. Both who really really like me and I really like both of them as well. It's really complicated. There's A and there's B.

A - known for almost 7 years, lives faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar, close to me, irregular chats here and there, I've liked him ALOT when I met him but then some drama happened and we never had our own time together
B - almost 3 years, lives near, close to me, talked alot the past 3 years, I really really like him but he has some temper issues and is kinda anti-social so it's hard to drag him out and see me

They don't know each other but A knows about B and some stuff that we do. I told B that A and I have been talking lots and late into the night last week and he seemed jealous. @_@

Bah! All I need is patience to see where things will go and hopefully the decision will be made for me by then.


Turns out that Guy A was NOT who I thought he was but he still seemed pretty hardcore rocker with the spiked up hair and unnatural colour highlights (very few though). My brother was nice enough to take me to the nearest Skytrain Station to my house ^_^ I just bussed and walked home =]

I got my two new pairs of circle lenses yesterday. EOS Gold-Black and GEO CK-107. I opened my EOS Gold-Black and soaked them overnight and wore them today. They look pretty good. I'm still not used to having bigger looking eyes though @_@ I need to wear my circle lenses more often.

I'll probably open the GEO CK-107 in a month or so after I get used to my EOS Gold-Blacks. =)

I watched an OVA (Original Video Anime) called Strait Jacket the other day and I really liked it. Even though it was only 3 episodes and the over-all feel to it is very shounen and FMA-like, the way things were represented really caught me. And it's also probably the gore, psychological stuff and over-all creepiness of the Demons. If you're looking for something short (and this OVA is REALLY short) and are fond of the whole Full Metal Alchemist stuff, I suggest that you watch Strait Jacket.


So I was supposed to facetrade with TWO people today. Guy A in a major mall at 12:00PM and Girl A at 3:00PM in another different mall. Now, my parents don't want me going far away without someone else with me so I asked my aunt to come with me. Then something happened. My aunt went to church and won't be back until 2:00PM. She's walking too. Since I can't go anywhere without someone else and I can't find other people, I basically can't go. So then I messaged Girl A and she was totally okay with it. Then I messaged Guy A and the first thing I heard was "What the hell?" I don't mind. I totally understand why he would be pissed. We made arrangements and I failed to comply. Nonetheless, I made another arrangement with him today to meet at the same place at 4:30PM.

What's worse is that I searched for Guy A on Facebook to get a better idea of who I am going to be meeting up with and how they look like. I scrolled down and I immediately saw who I was going to facetrade with. It was this guy who I saw playing at a concert two years ago and he's a hardcore J-rocker, involved in a band and everything. I didn't want to make a bad impression to ANY of my customers but I just did. And it happened to be this guy that was just. UGH. My dear auntie, WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME. In any case, I hope she isn't tired from walking and that my brother does not leave the house so we could get a ride from him.


Bah! My love life is a mess. I'm unofficial with these two guys that I really like but since I'm considering them both, I don't think that I'm in love with either of them >< One's really sweet and caring but he's far. The other is considerate and a hard-worker and he's near but doesn't like going out. Oh the dilemma. A guy who I've known for almost seven years or a guy who I've known for almost 3 years? I feel like I know them both pretty well. A bit unclear still on the far guy but it'll clear up and sunshine will shine through the clouds. Neither know I'm flirting with the other which is really mean of me but I have to figure out my standings with both boys. The far guy is still unsure of me since I'm a submissive and he doesn't trust me fully yet. The nearer guy doesn't like to call us an item since if he did, he'd want to see me everyday but can't.

I don't get the last statement. A label just makes everything THAT complicated? Mmm...I guess. I don't know. Oh well.
