This is a quote from Margaret Wente's book An Accidental Canadian: Reflections on My Home and (Not) Native Land but I read it from one of my textbooks in English 12 called The Act of Writing under the essay titled Busy, Busy, Busy.

Wow, that is a lot of italics. haha.

So if you don't understand what these two sentences are saying, it basically means that the more busy you are, the more alive and more needed you feel. For me, this quote speaks how I really am in an aspect of my life. I like to feel needed and therefore, I find ways to be really busy. I feel like I'm alive and that I'm contributing to this world in some way or another by being busy. The feeling of stress keeps me alive! It's strange, I know and sometimes I just want to breakdown and cry but I know that I have to hold my head up high and finish what I started.

On the up-side, if you involve yourself in something that you like, it's actually quite fun =) For example, I involve myself in church, my class and my school as a whole. I'm the social executive for both my class and the school, the secretary of my church youth group, a yearbook team member and being heavily involved in the behind the scenes of this play (and playing a part in it as well) AND being on the basketball team..that's a lot of stuff don't you think? But I like it! It keeps my mind off of things that make me feel unhappy even though some of these events bring unhappiness and stress, it's better than emotional unhappiness. =P

It's strange. It even came to the point where I'm starting to get bothered by the fact that my room is just so messy! I want to clean it @___@

So my school is gay. I need Calculus 12 to get into UofT Commerce but my school doesn't offer it. I don't want to learn from the internet. Fuck that. I might be forced to take History 12 but then I really do need Calculus 12 cause it might be a requirement for some Commerce courses. FUCK. D:

In other news...I feel happy. I'm really dedicated to learning how to play basketball well that I did some drills at 11:20-11:50 xD That and we have practice tomorrow and I'd like to get more stamina just so I don't fall behind TOO much. I don't have P.E. so yeah.. Not very fit =/

Who knew planning a big party would be such a hassle -_- Gotta figure out... venue, guest list, program, invitations, give-aways, food, guests, specific special guests, special performances, AV equipment and worst of all, BUDGET.!!

Still not finished cleaning my room. =_=

My aunt from Japan came today! She brought back tons of Japanese food stuffs n_n Yummmmmmmmmy. And I got a new wallet. I have like..4 new un-used wallets. I had 5 but gave one away. My current one is still in really good condition so I don't see the need to replace it >_< So DON'T give me wallets as presents UNLESS there's dollar bills in there in increments bigger than $20 ;)

Should I tell my mom that I'm in love but not necessarily have a boyfriend? She asked me over the phone earlier. I feel like I should just cause I never talk to her about boy issues and it's like a normal mom thing to do..y'know?

I'm back! Renovations are almost done and my computer is hooked up! Yay =) All that's left are the dark green four leaf clovers on my yellow walls and the rearranging of my room. weewoooooooooooooooo.

FCA (Fellowship Christian Athletes) Football Tournament this past weekend. I was on the senior team and guess what? WE WON! And the best thing about it is that WE'RE the first senior team to win it. :) PLUS, this is the FIRST year that my school has Grade 12 and an actual senior team. We're just too cool :]

So my room is pretty much almost bare now, with the exception of the computer table and my super messy closet that won't even be touched and my sleeping bag and other random junk that doesn't take too much space, and I LOOOVE it. I get to sleep on the floor for the next night or two. I kind of really like that idea =)

We're renovating my room..ish sort of. Replacing the carpet with hardwood floors (yeah..my carpet is REALLY dirty. I haven't vacuumed it in forever!!) and painting my walls! I'm going for the Honey and Clover theme of pale yellow walls (representing honey) and green four leaf clover prints (representing the well...clover haha). Then hopefully, I'll get to redecorate my room.

Which reminds me..I need to design and plan it out so I know what to buy/how to decorate it and whatnot. For sure though, I will NOT be having a bedframe. It just makes things so much better. Teehee. And I want the computer on a lowww table. Like, I want everything to be low in this room! It's just so much more convenient in my opinion and so much more comfier! =) Even with hardwood floors, I wouldn't mind. I'll figure out some way to cover the floor with carpets or something XD;
