Spent the day with my family today just watching the rest of the Olympics. Good times =)

Yay for Vancouver! Olympics are finally over and I'm actually pretty sad =( The outburst of energy will disappear. >_<

It's amazing that the traffic didn't seem like it was affected at all. Not from my standpoint at least. HWY 1 from Port Coquitlam until Kensington Ave exit. As a matter of fact, it was actually better! O_O That's great =)

Yay for Team Canada for winning the Gold in Men's Hockey! Super awesome game, super awesome goal, super awesome win!

Even though I didn't watch the closing ceremonies till the end, I really enjoyed it. Making people wear white and projecting each country that participated's flag all throughout the audience was a brilliant idea! Sure there was hints of red and white from the Canadian flag every now and then but it was great xD

Sochi's presentation was just beautiful. Funny at times just cause. (My brother and I were joking around about how Sochi's mascot is like a snowball while we have furry creatures rofl xD) Is the water-side ampitheatre there for real though? The background looked REALLY fake <_<; If it is then omg. O.M.G.

I laughed alot at the poking fun at Canadians portion =P I thought it's great how we can just giggle at ourselves haha. The three actors with their little speeches were just totes hilair. +1 for Michael J. Fox!!!

Michael Buble's part was great! I loved his song and how it was so Canadian xD He must feel so awesome hahaha. And yeah!

Good run Vancouver. Good job Furlong (your speech skills suck though). AWESOME 2010 WINTER OLYMPICS ^_^

FOOD 3

Okay guys! So this post is long over-due but it's my homemade (notice how it is NOT "hon-mei") chocolate. Or in this case... peanut butter cups, crappy looking Ferrero Rochers and yeah! So I used about a box and a half of Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate. You have to chop it up so that it will melt easier.

As some of you have probably seen, the proper way to melt chocolate is by using a double-broiler type contraption. Basically, you have a big pot filled with water and another pot or metal bowl (as long as it conducts heat well) on top. Then, you place the chocolate in the secondary bowl in the water and stir it as the water is being heated up. Some people say that you should NOT let the water in the pot boil because it makes the chocolate taste weird. I don't know about that but to be on the safe side, I didn't let it boil. I added some milk in it just so it's creamier and not so chocolate-y.

So for the peanut butter cups, I took at a muffin tray and placed the muffin paper cup thingies in them. Then, I spread a layer of chocolate on the bottom and on the sides to form the case. You can't really tell but that is flat and only on the outsides. There's no bulk on the inside and also, you have to bring the sides of the cup up a bit more so there's space for enough peanut butter and the "lid" ^_^ As soon as you're done, place it in the fridge to cool and harden!

After 15 minutes, take it out and lay on the peanut butter! Make sure not to go over the sides of the cup so there's space for the chocolate lid. Then, cover the peanut butter with more melted chocolate to complete the peanut butter cup like so. It'll be a very messy step but fun! Try to flatten the peanut butter as much as you can for the lid. You can sprinkle some sprinkles on small candies or candied/dried fruits on top while the chocolate is still melted for decoration at this step.

Finally, let them cool in the refrigerator for another 15minutes! Take them out and feel free to decorate with icing or whatnot. =) Be creative!

My fridge is messy =P

And finally, end result! TA-DA! I wrote the initials down of the people whom I was going to give these to using red gel icing.

Some of them *coughWTLFcough* never made it because they got eaten LOL. One will NEVER *coughKTcough* make it just because and the rest were good. ^_^ These are very yummy btw and CL and AM said that they were better than Reese x) They even named it the "Geizz" or whatever. A play on pronunciation on "Reese" and "Izzy/Izz" and "Jizz" -___-;;

In any case, I made these too:

To the right is just some chocolate that I rolled into balls and rolled in chopped walnuts with a teeny drizzle of the red gel icing. To the left is just some canel-shaped chocolate with farm animal sprinkle decorations on top xD (they were the only Valentine's colour themed ones).

HAIR 1

"Hair" series? Lol =X

So a few days ago, I dyed my hair with Palty's Orange Biscuit. I've had this box for quite some time now, almost a year if I think about it, and decided to finally use it. I only used one box since my hair is thin and really layered. As a matter of fact, my mom said that there was more than enough O:! Anyway, here's the box and the contents:

Here's the before picture in flash with bathroom lighting. I dyed my hair from a darkish brown to a brown black in November and the roots have been growing out for a while now.

We left it on for 65 + 20 = 85 = almost 1.5hrs!

That's REALLY long I know, but my mom who helped me kinda fell asleep + we got lazy. And now..

Ta-da!

Same lighting as the one before.

And now, more BEFORE pictures:

And more AFTER pictures. Sorry there's no sunlight lighting.
I kinda fell asleep through most of the day when the sun shone today xD;;

Yeah, the colour is really nice. It's not too light but it's light enough that there's a change. It's not that orange and more of a caramel-y, honey-ish brown colour with a tint of orange and red (I think). It's nice. I really like it!

My hair was pretty soft after washing it out that same night. I washed it two days later and it was a bit dry but not too bad. I'll be using some Vitresse Hair Repair serum, Garnier colour care conditioner (that comes with the hair dye boxes that they have) and Palmolive Long and Soft shampoo. I hope it'll go back to being soft soon and grow longer!

FOOD 1 (technically 2. okay) FOOD 2

So I guess I should do a "Food" series or feature every so often since I post quite a bit about the food that I make (or will be posting more). Last week, besides the Korean Bibimbap, I made two other entrees. I made a simple baked salmon (no picture sorry) and this!

It's a really really simple Tuna Casserole! That's an 8inch pan I think.

Ingredients:

-cooked macaroni
-cream of mushroom
-LOTS of cheese (I used marbled cheddar and mozzarella)
-diced potatoes
-diced carrots
-canned tuna
-salt and pepper

Mix it all together and pop it in the oven for 30mins at 350F.

Tips:

>I didn't really measure anything. Just play it by ear (or in this case, by hand?) and add as much or as little as you want and the capacity of your pan.

>I suggest cooking the potatoes for abit first before mixing it in with the macaroni unless you're going to dice them really small then no need to.

Yummy and cheesy!

PANDIZMSTR 6

So I got this thingy on my upper lip. It's a pain and it's itchy. Apparently, it's a non-sexual type of herpes. FUCK THAT. >:(

PANDIZMSTR 5

So...I'm like, 2 weeks early <_<;>_>;; Strange. Very strange. But I should have seen it coming. Cravings and pimples =( Lame.

I made some homemade chocolate to give to my guy friends tomorrow. Only one set could be considered as honmei-choco but it's not like I can give it close to the actual day of Valentine's.

And yeah. The first few days of my mom and my cousin + his family being here is...different. I'm just so used to being independent that it's weird and annoying for my mom to always tell me to do stuff @_@ It'sk. I'll get used to it.

NBA All-Stars game tonight. East VS West. East won by TWO points. Lame. I hate it because I feel like the Eastern starters can be cocky. But they can't because they can't beat West with Kobe playing. So yeah. Which reminds me, three people were injured and they were the better players (imo.), Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul and Brandon Roy. All three of them have injuries so yeah n_n But it's okay. Considering that those three guys weren't playing, the Western Conference team did pretty well!

Love for Chauncy "Mr. Big Shot" Billups and Carmelo Anthony!

LOL @ Deron Williams' foul (he didn't know that he wasn't supposed to do that xD)
LMAO @ Dirk Nowitzki's face when Deron Williams went to foul ("NOOOOOOOOO" was on his face. LOLOLOLOL)
ROFL @ Dwight Howard's foul on Dirk (I don't remember why I was laughing but I know it was just funny xD)

PANDIZMSTR 4

Man, it seems like being Pandizmeister is a bad thing =(

A roller coaster ride of a day today. So to start off, I got picked up by the Carvster at 6:30 so I can go watch the championships for the Sr. Boys Basketball at Bodwell today. Very early rise but it didn't feel that bad.

Results = 4th place. =( They were doing so well and the whole DLS crowd (practically all the girls of our class) went crazy wild just for them. Things didn't go so well all throughout but at least they had peak moments. *sigh* I ended up crying towards the end of the first game because I was just so sad T.T Yet, another team where I'm indirectly involved but my feelings are as if I am directly involved. I couldn't handle the atmosphere in the gym so then I left with Yanny and Hazel. Yes. It was that bad and I felt that bad.

On the way to Lonsdale Quay, Yanny, Hazel and I got lost but we found our way. Ate at McDicks. Nom nom nom nuggets <3! Afterwards, I spent time with Yanny since Hazel went straight home. We ate some Qoola yogurt together and just walked around and stuff.

The skytrain ride to YVR Airport was like n_n; It was nice but boring since I fell asleep. Their trains are really wide o: Strange...I saw this one old man with a tube thingy and whenever he spoke, it was high pitched and sounded through the tube.

I saw my mom and my cousin and his family. Yay! =) Uhmmmmmm...my mom has a N97 xD I got to see my two dresses for my debut. SO PRETTY <3 Something I totes would wear and it's been decided that I'll buy the LG Ice Cream and get a Digital Perm done. Actually, I'm having second thoughts on the LG Ice Cream.

Was texting my friend Ivan all throughout the day xD So funny. :P

Saw the end of the opening ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympics going on here in Vancouver. Pretty funny d: Epic phail on the inner torch. KSP (kulang sa pansin = attention whores) people running in the streets. And yeah.

Shoutout to my speshal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwQBWDkodvk

PANDIZMSTR 3

This day can suck my non-existent-but-obviously-huge-if-I-had-any balls.

So obviously, I had a bad day. In actuality, it was an over-all good day but what happened in the last few hours when the sun was still up was just too terrible that it overtook all the good things that happened.

We lost Round 2 playoffs =( We don't go to the championships tomorrow and it's all due to the fact that we didn't play with enough heart and we didn't play as a team. It was ridiculous. We weren't listening to our teacher or following the plays that we made. People were all over the place and it was just terrible. I hates it. I was so pissed off every single fucking time. FUCK.

This loss is the first time I ever wanted to cry over a school team sport. Well, there was the first time with the Sr. Girls Volleyball team and losing to that shit team during championships but I wasn't directly involved in that so it doesn't count as much. This time, I'm IN the team and I'm DIRECTLY involved and it just hurts.

T_T Now it's time to go and get sick to make myself feel better. =_=

PANDIZMSTR 2

I think I'm in like...housewife mode right now.

So I made dinner tonight. Bibimbap for those of you who don't recognize it. It's a Korean dish involving rice, beef, thinly sliced carrots and shitake mushrooms, bean sprouts and a sunny-side up egg on top. Sesame oil is a key ingredient in this dish. There's two of them since one was for me and one was for my brother.

The green thingies are cucumbers. I learned that it should have been zucchinis instead of cucumbers. You can add more veggies too x) I totally missed the spinach on this one lol. Also, add lots of that red spicy stuff. Well, not too much. I added too much to mine and it became too spicy @_@; But yeah. My brother said it was good and I think it so too :D (except for the cucumbers. they came out kinda bitter =( )

I also learned that I hate slicing carrots. >(

In other housewife-y mode news. I've been doing laundry and washing dishes non-stop + sewing activities n__n woohoo lol.

In pandizzy news:

I tasted a cousin of my normal foodies today - the sugar cane! I've eaten sugar cane before and I've loved it every single bite and slurp. Obviously, today was no exception.

Yes. I ate a sugar cane in school today. Math 12 class to be exact. For some strange reason, my math teacher bought 2 long sticks of sugar cane from a Vietnamese store and brought them to school. o__o; He cut them up for my whole math class to nom nom nom and we probably spent about half the class with this :P yummy!

PANDIZMSTR 1

*points at Twitter widget*

Yes yes indeed ladies and gentlemen. For a short time only, Pandizmeister15 is coming to a blog near you! (meaning this one). =) She's all about fun, hugs and of course, panda-ness! Hug her while she's still nice because in a few weeks, she'll turn rabid. Just kidding of course but you know what I mean.

So I've had many different hands-on projects for the past few weeks. I have an incomplete summer dress in the works, a thingy majigg involving sewing and stuff (kinda like plushies I guess but in a more smaller scale) and silk screening a shirt. Well, tonight, I'm proud to announce that I've just finished the latter of the list! Over the course of Thursday night until Sunday night (tonight), I was busy stippling, drawing, cutting and using glue for this activity. Here's some pictures ^_^ The end result is pretty cute. teehee.

The mess I made on my bedroom floor

The image that I put on the front of my shirt.
(for those of you who don't recognize/know this character, it's my Ragnarok Frontier High Priestess' head chibi-fied my way. It's how I always draw her =) )

So I traced her on some organza fabric and started doing a kind of stencil using Mod Podge.
(I also added in twin ribbons. She's always wearing that and was given to her by her partner in crime and my next silk-screening project)

I forgot to take a picture in between but basically, I layered the organza over the t-shirt and placed a a cardboard box between the two layers of the t-shirt. Then, using a brush, I stippled away along the stencil and that was the end result on the organza fabric.

Unfortunately, it didn't turn out quite as nicely as I hoped it would on the shirt...

...so I went over the lines xD

Then I coloured her in! Ta-da! It's kinda messy but for a first time, I think it's good.

The same thing with her name. x)

Finished product! *name-wise*

Now some on-person pictures!

The shirt was an "Adult Small". I could have bought the fitted Adult Small but then they had a sale. 2/$7!

From the back. See, it's very long.

Peace! ^_^ Don't mind the writing on the mirror. They're my 2010 goals lol. Also, please pardon the messy room.

And yeah. That's what I've been doing this weekend. Besides that, I've also been a MW2 freak. I finished Campaign on Regular all in one sitting yesterday and I played a good 3-4 hours of Multiplayer today. @_@; Addicteddd.

LIX

We had our first basketball game yesterday and it was against the last team we played against. Pretty fun x) 71-15 for us and I fouled 3 times (I think). 2/3 fouls involved heavy physical contact. The first one, I was defending against a girl and I kinda tripped on my own feet and fell and that was a foul on me apparently @_@; The second one is more entertaining. I was guarding this girl who was gonna have a breakaway but I wouldn't let her at all and I ended up tackling her. Then, instead of rolling AWAY from her, for some reason, I rolled ON her. LOL =X But yeah. Once again, I didn't get any points (I'm too shy T.T;;) and any other positive stats but it's okay.

Attempted to play MW2 on my youth family friend's XBOX 360 tonight. It was hard cause I'm used to my PS3 controller and the shoot/aim down/grenades buttons are switched up *sigh* It's okay. Next time!

In other news, I finally reached my goal of saving up to $300! Unfortunately, as soon as I did, I went to Michael's (the arts and crafts store) to buy stuff for my silk screening attempt and spent around $50 =_=;; But it's worth it! I hope.

In relation to the previous paragraph, attempting my first "silk-screening" project over the weekend. I started last night for the stencil making but it didn't work as well as I did in terms of actually using the stencil on the shirt. I had to go over the lines anyway -__-; I guess it's okay since at least I had a guide. Looking forward to tomorrow when I finish this =) I'll post up pics when I'm done.

Also, I received my term 2 report cards today. I went up in everything except for Bible and Math. Bible, to be expected since my worship wasn't that great. Math, also to be expected just cause our teacher sucks balls. My average went up though by 1%! 92%-->93% Probs because my Drama grade went up to 100%, my English grade went up to 99%, my Chemistry grade went up to 94% and my Biology grade went up to 89%. I know it sounds like I'm bragging but I'm just really happy. Please bear with me :P

XLVIII

So I caught up www.onemanga.com's latest update of Skip Beat and all I have to say is...

Oh.
My.
Fucking.
Grawrsh.

I'm SOOO hooked and SOOO into it that at certain chapters I was so jittery and squirmy and squealing. Then at a particular chapter, I rolled on the floor to get all the emotions out. Oddly enough, I felt two emotions within me all at the same time. Love and sadness. I know this because I was tearing up at some parts. *sigh* Definitely a total shoujo but has some more stuff to it. It's not SUPER shallow but rather but still has depth - even just a little bit.

I recommend Skip Beat. A definitely good read =)

Today, I kinda went somewhat-of-but-not-totally Japanese high school girl "costume". I wore my white loose socks and my white sailor shirt that fit at the waist (not the loose one I have (I have like..2 or 3 sailor shirts)), somewhat curly-ish hair and a sparkly clear headband (which is apparently all the rage right now. I didn't know that but my mom did so she sent me some) that looks like a crown. At that to my school uniform burgundy and green tartan kilt and black shoes then ta-da! You got a schoolgirl @_@!

My classmate said I looked like a princess with the headband and hair x) Then as I was running across the gym towards the entrance in front of many of my peers including my child-minded Bio/Chem12 teacher, he told me I looked like Little Red Riding Hood. o_O; What was so red about me? Strange.

In other news...

I WANT THIS. http://bit.ly/bzLYNp
