cali cali cali cali cali
Man, Cali was just legendary. I miss everything already!!! T___T
Song of the trip for me would have to be...
The guys HATED it but T and I looooved it. We heard it inside the Abercrombie & Fitch Kids store and it was so catchy!
But yeah. I REALLY miss Cali T_T In-n-Out was awesome. BEST fast food hamburgers EVER. You guys should all go. Then, our accommodations at the Residence Inn at the Marriott was AMAZING. A bi-level suite complete with a king size bed downstairs, a queen size bed upstairs, two full baths, a complete kitchen, three TVs and a sofa bed n__n It was just EXTREMEEEEEEE!!!! Finally, although it seemed sketchy at first, our rental van was pretty good as well. It had A/C so we didn't die in the heat and it fit all of us xD;
Our activities consisted of endless UNO games, chilling and squeezing in the guys' beds xD, STAPLES CENTREE (<3 Lakers. the area smelled like shit though), Six Flags: Magic Mountain (X2 = XTREEEEEEME and Goliath = LOLOLOLOL), Inception (we always keep getting screwed over whenever we tried watching it here in Vancouver -____- ), The Expendables (LOLOLOL. Shit plot but the action, violence, gore and lame jokes made up for it), shopping, Laguna Beach (shitty bitch. shittier Japanese food), basic Hollywood and Kodak Theatre, PINKBERRYYYY, house hopping, GOOD FOOD (put on like, 5lbs @___@), Robek's Juice for breakfast, and many trips to the same mall xD; We did many more things but those were the highlights =]
Oh, and I can't forget. We missed our last connecting flight from Seattle to Bellingham on the way home (wtf right? LOL) Such a fun experience but I wouldn't have had it any other way nor spent it with other people <3

Kingyo Sou
And now, as we reach the end of my manga features, I present you with the humble yet heartfelt...
Storyline: 10/10
I love how it's shoujo and it touches on a more mature subject. The relationship between a girl and a handicapped boy is truly one of the most powerful things that I've read about. The storyline is simple and nothing too complicated which makes it stand out. It's also very special and you can really feel the warmth that the mangaka is trying to express.
Characters:10/10
Nobody is perfect and everyone tries their hardest in relationships. The characters of this manga are all such round and realistic characters. They aren't exaggerated in any way at all. Asuka annoyed me a few times though but then I looked more closely and I saw myself in her. You can really relate to these characters or at least feel what they're feeling and their character designs are really cute ^_^
Overall: 10/10
I love Kingyo Sou's simplicity and emotion. The manga has made me cry multiple times even after reading it twice. That's how wrapped up and how affected I am by Asuka and Masami's story. It's just feels so genuine and shows real problems that real couples go through and none of that overly dramatic things that you would normally read in typical shoujo manga. Kingyo Sou taught me many things about relationships and will definitely be a manga that I won't forget. =)
I REALLY want to read til the end of this manga. Unfortunately, the scans aren't as up-to-date =(

Something bad will happen if my ratings aren't at least perfect and above n_n HAHAHAHA
Storyline is just awesome. I LOVE IT! Although it gets abit repetitive at times, it's just so hilarious that you don't even notice at all. You will know what will happen (or at least the way things will flow) but now exactly WHAT will happen. Also, the idea of a double-life with extreme opposites is just hilarious, especially when the evil side comes out when the good side is trying to lead it's life.
Character-wise, they're awesome too. The PUBLIC OBSCENITY HAIRCUT must NOT be underestimated nor frowned upon!!!!! Hahahahah. Character designs are just fucking A. They can't get any better. Their personalities are also beautif- errr...horrifying. :D Different quirks, different issues but they all come together and it's just SO funny.
Everything is just really really funny. That's why I love this manga xD; It's like Kyou Kara Ore Wa but even more vulgar and profane. It has a live action movie and an anime so you can actually HEAR the songs being played. It's really awesome overall. I LOVE DMC.

Mirai Nikki
I've been following this for a while now and couldn't see the future of it whatsoever. I wish I had my own...
Storyline: 9/10
It's just so unpredictable and full of WTF moments that it's great. However, because of the vast amount of WTF moments found throughout the manga, Mirai Nikki has pissed me off quite abit. It isn't that bad though and I guess it's good to be slightly annoyed once in a while =P I really like the concept of the game but not so much the violence. The chance to become the god of time and space through a dangerous game requiring merciless bloodshed is just n__n Yeah, Mirai Nikki is pretty good. Although except for the fact that the protagonist always wins somehow despite his wimpy attitude, everything else is just that unpredictable. I wouldn't be able to tell what will happen next or what kind of backstabbing will occur.
Characters: 9/10
Each character is very psycho in their own way and the more important characters have their own back stories which is revealed throughout the manga. They are all also very distinct with their quirks and personalities. Some may be stock-type characters but then there's always something, no matter how little, that screws them up. It's really interesting actually. Now that I think about it, maybe it's a representation of each corner of the human psyche! O___O Okay, maybe I'm just over-thinking things now =P In any case, the character designs are pretty simple. Nothing too special but there are some really unique ones =D Each one fit their personalities pretty well actually =]
Overall: 9/10
The backstabbing and the twists and turns make this such a suspenseful and mind-boggling thriller that a violent and psychologically interested person would absolutely adore it! I'd recommend it to that kind of person (as if it wasn't obvious enough) or just anyone looking for something more interesting. The art is appropriate for every scene, the story is well thought out and the characters are all so special n_n Mirai Nikki will definitely have you guessing what's in store :'D

Palty Pure Natural
Woooh. This post is waaaaaaaay overdue. I want to share anyway =P So it's about my February hair dye experience using Palty Pure Natural. I forgot to take a picture of the box so I just took one off of Google Image!
So, here's before pictures. Three months after my experience with Orange Biscuit.
I left it on for around 45 minutes and here are some after pictures after I woke up the next day. Sorry I don't have any immediate pictures. I got lazy ^_^;;
I tried my hardest to make the pictures look as similar to each other lighting-wise so you guys can get an idea of the change and colour.
The colour may not look that different but there is a slight difference. Pure Natural is more brown and less orange. I think that's about it =P I chose Pure Natural instead of Orange Biscuit because Palty has bleach in it and if I chose Orange Biscuit once again, my hair would become an even more gross orange colour. I don't have much pictures since I don't have much confidence in the ones I took. Sorry!
I have to do one of these again soon since I recently dyed my hair again a few days ago so keep an eye for it!

Skip Beat
Okay. I can't come up with anything for this because then it'll take away from the Storyline section =( Anyway, here's...
Storyline: 8/10
It just seems impossible. This girl gets into the show business so easily! It's a modern day, rags to riches, Cinderella story with a REALLY spunky girl, a prideful boy and a sophisticated but mysterious man. Yeah, it just seems soo impossible but it happened and the way she went about it was really funny! Although it touches on some general things such as the Japanese yearly events, it does have a bunch of it's own surprises that spices things up alot! Unexpected developments come along and the cliffhangers are placed in the most rage-worthy of places because you REALLY want to know what will happen at times but you can't find out until the next chapter comes out n_n Yeah, it's really addicting xD;
Characters: 8/10
The characters personalities are all pretty expected and their interaction is predictable as well. There is minor development throughout so -1 for that. Each character has their own quirk which makes them unique and lovable. It's really hard to understand what they're thinking sometimes which isn't a bad thing imo. The less predictable, the better! The character design is definitely suited for the bishounen style that both male leads have in both looks and personality *drool* Their chibi versions are just to die for as well. Kyoko looks really off sometimes though o_O Also, the company president is worth mentioning. I think he'd cry if I don't same his name =P Lory Takarada. =D
Overall: 8/10
Filled with many different types scenarios, this manga is really entertaining! It is, after-all, set in the entertainment industry so it HAS to be entertaining. =P It's really funny and really serious at the appropriate times. Would recommend this to those into modern adaptations of Cinderella stories and unorthodox methods of attaining goals. There's an anime adaptation for it but it doesn't capture the whole story since it's only got 25 episodes and the manga is still on-going. I tried watching it but I just got lazy =( Also, my video streaming doesn't seem to work =/

Lost+Brain
This will be my 9th manga feature. I can't believe it! There's 5 left to go, including this so you guys better stay with me till the end =P If you don't, then I might just have to hypnotize you through...
Storyline: 9/10
I like it! It's another one of those mangas where it makes you THINK. The -1 came from it's similarities to Deathnote but other than that, Lost+Brain is great! The hypnotism technique to take over the world is something that I haven't seen before so there's a plus for that. But yeah, it really does have a Deathnote feel to it because of the rather extreme methods that the protagonist use to reach his final goal. Also, it's still incomplete so things are rather unpredictable at this point.
Characters: 8/10
-1 for Hiyama Ren being too similar to Light and another -1 for the art looking somewhat similar to that of Deathnote. I really like the whole anti-hero thing that Ren has going on and the pairing of Kuonji Itsuki's ability and character design is perfect! There isn't really much back story to the characters and so far, I haven't seen any sort of character development but with 23 chapters at around 18 pages each, I kinda expected it. I hope to see more from the characters though like, Yuka being more useful and maybe Ren's subordinates betraying him xD
Overall: 8.5/10
I'd recommend this for those who liked Deathnote and discourage comparing them to each other (like how I did =P ) because they are different after all. Personally, I support what Light is doing and what Ren is doing. Though their methods are rather extreme, I kinda feel like sometimes, that's the only way to make the world a better place. Anyway, I'm getting off-topic. Over-all, Lost+Brain has a not-so-unique story but a unique approach to it that stands out. Stuff can get confusing but that's what makes it good :D It doesn't just spoon feed you stuff so easily, you gotta think hard too!

Florida/Bahamas Vacation pt7 [CONCLUDING]
And now, the concluding chapter of my vacation!
Day 8 - jul5
9:48am
After a 3hr sleeping trip last night from Fort Lauderdale back to my aunt's house, I just crashed. Not just me but I think the rest of my fam as well. We were just sooo tired @@
Oh! So...after eating dinner, we walked around then since we were on international waters ;) A Pina Colada and a Bahama Mama baby :p They tasted okay. The Pina Colada was beginning to taste really bitter towards the end since I think that the rum settled towards the bottom. After that, my stomach was really full of liquids so I couldn't enjoy the Bahama Mama as much. It was pretty yummy though and I didn't get tipsy at all. n_n training from those two seshes with my bro and his friends.
After all that, we just crashed at our cabin and tried to sleep. Well, my brother and I tried to. My dad slept and my mom was in and out. Then, the wait time for us to get out seemed like foreverrrrr. Stupid customs and border protection -___-
I seem to be having DLS and youth fam bam related dreams lately. Awww...I just miss them is all.
Last-minute packing to go back home na. Aww...it's been a pretty good vacation. Stressful but fun at times :o
10:11am
My sister is being left behind since she doesn't have her Permanent Resident's Card yet. It's probably in our mailbox now.
I received a random text from a Vancouver number and it was from someone that I didn't know. It said something about not enough money and not being able to go. I freaked out and searched desperately for who it might be since it could be someone going on the California trip in August!! But it wasn't. They texted again a minute later saying it was to the wrong number. I wonder who it was. Definitely a girl, for sure. Hmmmmmmm...
1:08pm
Sitting here in the Melbourne International Airport, we're waiting for our flight going to Charlotte, North Carolina. Thank goodness for wi-fi, I was able to check twitter, formspring, Xenophase and my e-mail. Man, so much drama on Xenophase n_n I miss my youth fam bam and I missed outtt!
As our vacation ends, I'm excited. California in August and Victoria as well. This will be a costly, but fun, summer :)
I'm planning to get back into RF again to hopefully spend more time with -censored- and possibly meet new friends. Possible UBC classmates? :D This might actually be a good thing!
3:48pm
Charlotte airport now. Man, we got off at an E gate and we had to walk alllll the way to an A gate and they're on opposite sides of the airport. That's so ridiculous! Imagine hauling a backpack, a rolly bag and another bag on the rolly bag for that long. It must have been a 20 minute walk.
5:42pm
Just finished eating dinner at chili's too. Soooo full! Chicken fajitas and two mugs of mango iced tea (US style) and some chicken buffalo wings. n_n
I have already realized it but I just wanna state it. I eat alot. Like actually.
Checking my phone, I noticed that I have a missed call from BMW. O.o I wonder why she called me.
8:11pm (Texas time)
Houston, Texas. Wow. Houston, Texas. Dang (yes, that's a name) lives here still. I think. Uhm, yeah...we had some history when I was 12, 13ish and we planned out how I'm going to live there with him and everything. Theeeen he disappeared, reappeared two years later and tells me that he never really liked me, as in like like, in the first place. It kinda feels awk being here and the possibility of seeing him, despite it being 0%, or even just being in the same city as him. Eep. Ohhh the adventures of a cheap traveller.
11:44pm (Vancouver time)
Hello Vancouver. How I've missed you <3
The flight wasn't too bad. My brother paid $6 for TV for 4hours and 45minutes. We watched Alice in Wonderland (the latest version) and alternated between Constantine and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Unfortunately, I was too sleepy and couldn't finish PotC.
jul9
12:15am
The journey doesn't end until I'm home! Hahahaha. Sitting here at YVR, I REALLY miss Vancouver :( I miss seeing all the Asians and the dark olive green colours of the airport and the ability to text my friends without having to pay 55cents extra! Hahaha. Strangely enough, I think that I've formed a liking to black boys during this trip :p
12:27am
Even though it's 15degrees, it feels nice. It's a nice cool and not terrible at all. Ahhh. It definitely feels nice :)
That's all folks. I hope you enjoyed reading them, although despite being huge walls of text xD! Next up would be for me to finish the manga features aaaand do a post on my graduation so watch out for those! =)

Faster than a Kiss
Time for some lovey-dovey shoujo manga! I wonder if a couple could hold out for this long? I read somewhere that a couple's first kiss was their wedding day so I guess so but imagine the temptation @__@; Anyway, remember that in relationships, sex shouldn't be...
Storyline: 8.5/10
-1 for typical events being covered such as festivals, Christmas, school trip, etc. -.5 for a somewhat uncommon but still somewhat popular and forbidden student-teacher relationship. This is, however, taken to a higher level and that is..for you to find out! It's really cute though with quite a few surprises. They're also put into really tricky situations but they always manage somehow. Even though it's kind of predictable, you're still put on edge because you don't know if they will be discovered or if someone will rat them out @__@ It's suspenseful in that way. However, the love and affection is evident! <3 It also just isn't about the romance, the family atmosphere is very present and it gives off a warm glow to the manga.
Characters: 9/10
They're all really interactive with each other and the character design is simple but attractive. I LOOOOOOOOVE Fumino's hair n_n Like, I waaaant it. Uhmm, personality wise, Fumino is a tsundere? Or was it yandere... T_T HELP ME KENN D: Ma-kun's resourcefulness is amazing and his back story is nice too. But yeah, they're a really colourful bunch and some characters do have the typical inferiority complexes or insecurity issues but that's to be expected - but I still gave -1 for that =P There is, however, that annoying disease where older characters are drawn looking like they are way younger. ARGH.
Overall: 8.75/10
I really like this manga. It's special in it's own little way and different from the other shoujo mangas. There actually is some meat of a story in there and isn't all the same stuff throughout despite the events that seems to have to happen. I would recommend it for those who love to squeal and daydream about forbidden relationships =) Although still ongoing, there's quite a bit to go on already to hook you into it =)

Bloody Monday 1+2
Now for a change of pace! I'll always be alternating the mangas that I feature depending on their genre and feel that they give off so you guys don't get TOO bored. As you can see in the title, there's a "1+2" meaning that there is a sequel to the first one.This next one is filled with lots of surprises to the point where it becomes ridiculous but still engaging and entertaining and is called...
Storyline: 9/10
The story is very interesting and involves alot of components such as action and strategic planning. It's very engaging and entertaining so that's why it's got me hooked. With a formula theme as a base and foundation for the story, the way that the mangaka added a bunch of stuff in to make it more personalized and interesting is done very well. You're definitely kept at the edge of your seats and your brain is active with trying to figure things out. I like this alot about this manga. It's also filled with surprises but like I said, there's so many that you just go "WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?", rage for a bit, accept it after your brain has processed the facts then be a bit moody for the rest of the chapter. However, it's really funny and interesting that way.
The sequel is definitely a continuation and has the same theme and feel but a different story. It's also just as interesting as well.
Characters: 8.5/10
Each, or at least most, characters have a back-story to them so the characters are interesting in their own way. They might have somewhat stereotypical personalities with the always determined protagonist, helpless family member and supportive+composed best friend but they're tweaked with a psychological issue or some kind of issue so it's different from what you'd expect. The art is kind of annoying sometimes but it's okay. Nothing too special and it doesn't really touch me in a way or tell me that it matches with the story somehow.
Overall: 8.75/10
The ability of the mangaka and the way it's presented in the manga to build upon a formula foundation and transform it into something much, much better is very good =D Yes, you may know what's going to happen but no, you don't know how it will happen. It's also a very interesting approach to terrorists and saving the world and whatnot. I would recommend it to those who like action, strategic planning or a mix of both =) Definitely not boring at all!
P.S. Looking for a picture for this post, I found out that it also has a live action version. WTF!! Does everything have a live action version?! Okay, my list is growing back to it's original size. Will check it out if I'm not too lazy or have enough time. =P

Kimi ni Todoke
This next manga is a typical shoujo manga but it's simplicity has captured my heart! Teehee xD It's called...
Storyline: 8/10
Very predictable and it follows all the typical events that you need in a shoujo manga such as Valentine's, Christmas and New Year's. It's a shoujo manga that will not fail to meet your expectations. It is complete with love triangles, opposite positions on the social totem pole, standing up to bullying and meddling teachers but it's still really cute! No deep themes. Just your average high school drama. Unfortunately, because of this, it's predictable but it still makes your heart go "SQUEEE" and that's why I like it =) It's not too complicated either and it's a simple plot. It was originally a 7/10 but +1 for simplicity. I realized that I liked this manga because of it's simplicity. A nice contrast to Liar Game which I'm also following.
Characters: 8/10
Once again, a stereotypical set of characters all around so -1 for that. There is minor character development as you see the protagonists growing in their own way along with their friends as well. I like the way they're drawn. It's very mellow looking and Sawako's image suits her character. She's also really cute because of her personality. Kazehaya is *drool* (by now, you guys can probably tell my type haha) ^_^ I forgot what the other -1 was for =( But there's something!! Or maybe I just don't want the overall rating to be so low =P OH YEAH! I REMEMBER NOW. -1 because of the misunderstandings being caused by each character's insecurity =P I hate that.
Overall: 7.5/10
Cute and squeezes a girl's heart! I'd recommend it as a guilty pleasure type read for girls (and boys if you like this stuff). Still ongoing though. Apparently, there's a live-action version :O!! Maybe I'll check it out if I get out of my "too lazy to download" phase. But yeah, it's just really cute and nothing too special but still worth checking out.

Florida/Bahamas Vacation pt6
I'll save the finale for last :D!
Day 7 - jul4
10:16am
Woke up around 8 since my parents told us that we had to be ready by 9 for this tour. We've been sitting here for around 30mins now and the transportation that was supposed to be included with the tour that we signed up for isn't here yet at all. I'm starting to think that either...
b) the tour company is late
c) scam
Boooo.
In other news, kuya W is back in Vancouver. Awwww...I miss the youth :(
10:39am
Finally on the bus for our tours and this bus is ghetto. Two-seater on the right side and one-seater on the left. Then, attached to the two-seater is this folding seat and this bus sure is full. Sitting next to a super sweaty, most likely drunk or at least intoxicated, white man, it's pretty nast. Then his friend is cracking up jokes. luuuulz. Sarcastic or not, it's pretty hilair.
10:51am
looooool. My dad with his cowboy hat and wrinkled forehead looks so cute. xD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4:08pm
We're finally on the boat! Time to go back to Florida then go back to Vancouver the day after. Wooooh.
The Bahamas isn't actually all that great. It's nice, I'll admit, but the people here are so hellbent on tourism, tourists and trying to con people out of their money as much as they can that it takes away from the true beauty of the country and island itself. Quite disappointing really.

Florida/Bahamas Vacation pt5
Day 6 - jul3
12:12am
We're in our hotel now in the Bahamas. We're staying at Our Lucaya Village :o It's not bad and we're right next to the beach. So some notes...
They drive on the left side of the road and the driver sits on the left side too. It was pretty intense on the ride from the airport here to the hotel. Also, it rained the first 10 minutes that we were here n_n
Mom and dad's room are in 4057 while my brother and I are in 1141. So far! Not only are the numbers fur but the location itself.
We swam around 6-7ish on the beach. The water was perfect temperature. Even though it wasn't sunny, it was pretty good still. By the end, it was raining pretty hard and the wind was blowing really hard n_n
We ate at this Bahamian cuisine place and they serve REALLY good bread. It's soooo delicious that we even bought a loaf x) I ordered the snapper and it was pretty good. My dad ordered some conch so we got to try that. It's texture is very chewy and rubbery. I don't like it :/
I also found out that even if there's no sun, as long as you swim in the beach or in the pool, you will definitely still get tanned. And also, while we were swimming, we exfoliated ourselves using the sand. The sand is pretty find and light coloured. It's not quite white but it's pretty light :)
Been watching Tv with my brother, interesting shows :)
11:12am
Woke up around 30minutes ago since my mom came in around 9ish and asked if we wanted breakfast (wake up right when she was there) or brunch (wake up an hour or so later...which is now). Being late sleepers, my brother and I, we chose brunch :p So now I'm awake and ready to go but he's still asleep. Apparently, he couldn't sleep due to his mosquito bites and how itchy they were. Ouch.
Had a dream about superheroes. Specifically Spider-man, actually, and there were many villains which included Dr. Doom, a Spider-man/Superman hybrid, Spider-man clones, etc.
6:48pm
A rather uneventful day today. Apparently, nothing happens on Saturdays in terms of tours =___= It's okay though. I actually don't mind though :) It's nice to just chill and do whatever :p My brother and I ended up walking around quite abit and swimming in the beach for around an hour I think x) Def got tanner. Then before that, we ate at this Latin Fusion restaurant. I had some fish tacos and it's so yummy x) The hard taco shell was kinda nasty though. Def not made of corn and it tasted soo oily but the soft taco was good. The fish itself was surprising. I thought they were going to use minced fish but it was fried fish bites. It wasn't so bland though and had a kick to it. Tasted niiiice :)
Other than those things, nothing else really happened. I left my phone with my mom so I couldn't keep track that much of the day :p
In other news... I just realized that I get jealous. I get jealous really easily :( Seeing -censored-'s reply to -censored-'s -censored- topic regarding naming a -censored- (he caught a -censored-?) made my chest hurt abit. It's like T_T Why not ask me? Or or y'know, tell me even? Nothiiing :( Then he had a -censored- display picture and -censored- has a -censored- one, I think, so it's like...matching?! D: But he did tell me to call him when I get back. I just have to trust him >_<
7:42pm
Man, cartoons nowadays are so sarcastic and cynical. They're also so much more suggestive and eccentric. A good example would be Adventure Time :p
10:00pm
LOL. So after eating dinner, which consisted of beef kebabs for me, we're watching the entertainment here in the Port Lucaya square and it was this guy limbo-ing. Funny story.
I'm just standing here trying to take pictures and this little kid stands next to me then he strikes up a conversation. Then it goes into this:
K: I own the Karate Kid movie!
I: Cool. Are you RELATED to the karate kid?
LOOOOOL.
Yeah and the limbo-ing dude did 8inches xD
10:26pm
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! TOO cute! This little white kid with curly hair was thrown into the oil spill (racist joke =X) by his parents and this little black girl starts playing with him then the music ends and she leaves and he follows her. Then she kisses him on the forehead and she sits down with her friends. Then the little boy looks around, finds a chair then tries to bring it to where she is to sit next to her. It's soooo cute!!!! Then after, the boy disappears then reappears and when he sees her, his face lights up SO much! But then he had to leave but they were still dancing and it looked like they didn't want to let go of each other's hand but the boy eventually had to leave and the girl looked SO sad :( awwww... Such a cute story. They're only like...3? 4? Really young. Man, when the parents took pictures and when they show their children, they'll be so embarrassed :p How cute.

Liar Game
Next up, to keep you guys entertained while I'm still at Nanaimo is probably a more known manga due to it's live action version. It's really interesting and deals with more intellectual stuff and I think that's just awesome. I would be lying if I said that I have a crush on Akiyama. Or would I...?
Storyline: 9.5/10
Although it's all about good vs. evil and justice and whatnot, the storyline used to present these themes is definitely different compared to others. It's all about a game of lying, cheating and just basically doing anything in your power to win. It deals with a lot of mind games, how people are affected with their relationships to each other and money. There are different arcs and some arcs or parts of the arcs can be really dragged out incessantly but other parts just go by and you're left leaving with a "O_O" look on your face. However, they do explain what happens later on so at least your brain doesn't explode from trying to figure it out yourself. This makes the story develop slower though.
Characters: 8/10
-1 for annoying Nao. -1 for somewhat stereotypical personalities in characters. +1 for tranny. I know it adds up to 9/10 but there's something that I can't place my finger on that made it an 8/10 Anyway, there's no character development really but some characters are really smart. The intelligence and thought put in by the author to make characters come alive is really good. When a character does something, you can really say "Yeah. I totally see them doing that." It's so well thought out and the plans and everything are awesome! The anti-hero image of Akiyama is a nice touch with him being an ex-convict. I'm not particularly fond of Nao cause I feel like she gets in the way =P Uhmm, the art is nice :D Simple and uncomplicated. ^_^ I like.
Overall: 8.75/10
It's a really good series. Intellectually stimulating and rather unexpected at times. The strategies thought out are all unexpected and they surprisingly work out in the end. I really like it and I would recommend it for those interested in puzzles, and the like, and maybe not for those who are more into action. There is also a live action version. I haven't watched it yet so I can't compare it to the ongoing series though but you can definitely check it out =)

Dengeki Daisy
This next manga that I will be featuring is under shoujo, romance and school life on Onemanga. However, I'm also going to add action to that as well. This manga is more than just your typical love story and that's what made me take interest in it. The title of this manga is...

Although formula with the love, relationship and school aspect, the action involved makes it all the more better. It isn't just your typical "I'm a damsel in distress!" "I'll save you!" *arrives in some super cool way*. No. It's far from that. It's actually rather interesting the way they meet and there is this cyber/technological stuff involved and it hasn't fully revealed all the mysteries behind the specific characters yet. With the character's life in danger and the mystery clouding "Daisy" and her older brother, Dengeki Daisy's story is pretty good :D
Characters: 8/10
The characters are stereotypical =( A kind and somewhat helpless heroine, a vulgar and skillful hero, it's all normal D: The way they're drawn is nice but the design itself is too normal as well. But then n__n the hero looks so cool so +1 for that =P Also, their interaction may be pretty simple and expected but their relationships in terms of their occupation, "student", "janitor", "faculty", etc. is pretty creative :D Minute character development as the only development we ever see is the characters opening up and us finding out more about their past =/ which isn't much actually. @_@;
Overall: 8.5/10
I like it =) Although stereotypical characters, I guess the shoujo, romance and mystery/action aspect combined is something different from your typical dramatic and feelings-filled shoujo manga. It's funny at times and really cute too. Maybe if the characters were more dynamic, then the score would be pushed up. However, if you're looking for romance and a bit of mystery, then this manga would be for you x)

Day 5 - jul2
3:20am
It's too early! And what the fuck was all that noise that I heard from the kitchen. It's so early and I hear banging and clanging. WTF!!!!!!
3:41am
20minutes later and I'm still sleep as hell. Got around 4-5hrs of sleep cause I couldn't sleep at 10 :( It's actually really cold right now D: frick. I hate this feeling of cold feet and arms. What's worse is that I don't have anything to protect myself with. Nooooooooooo. Lulzk.
I just realized that today is one of the few trips where I haven't brought ANY stuffed animal of mine n_n No rice, no piggy, no doggy or no bear! It makes me feel all grown up :o It's like...I've finally crossed the line between an adult and a child! Woohoo! I won't lie, it def feels weird but it should be okay..
6:55am
We're here at the port now, waiting to board the ship. There's actually quite a bit of people. I'm wearing W's and C's birthday gift to me underneath this oversized top thingy. It's nerve-wracking really, to wear this bikini top since I don't have enough boob :( I'm scared that the tops covering my chest would slip off or something :(
7:24am
So, I think that this lady that we have to go through to board the ship has her panties in a knot. I bet you that she's going through PMS right now and thinking "Oh, I'll mess with this family today." Bitch. We're held up cause of my sister's papers and it's really annoying. It'd suck if she isn't allowed to board and go with us to the Bahamas.
In other news, I'm allowed to drink alcohol once we're outside Florida waters xD woohoooooooooo. Oh. And I'm REALLY hungry too.
10:14am
The boat is finally moviiiiiing. We're on our way to the Bahamas. Unfortunately, my sister isn't with us :/ She has some issues with her passport and papers so she isn't able to come :( The rest of the fam kind of had a bash sesh during brunch here on the boat n_n;; but it all made sense. I felt bad but she really can be mean at times.
In other news, my brother and I have been walking around and we tried to get some drinks. Apparently, I'm not allowed yet but it's okay. I was given this privilege so I won't abuse it and just wait until I'm allowed to. Watching FIFA now and this girl with major nippage just passed by without a bra. Talk about awk and totes disg. Eurgh! She's someone that I'd definitely want to post up on www.thedirty.com -o-
1:21pm
Finally awake from a nap. I wonder if we're close or if we're on international H2Os. luuulz.
1:49pm
Captain's Log. July 2nd. Year 2010. Friday. Trip day 5. With the 4 of us remaining, we managed to get on the boat. The staff set us up with a cabin on the Andros Deck. Cabin's number is 4412 and all that my crew and I have been doing is sleeping in this tiny room. Despite the size, we all fit in somehow; with one small bed, one round window and one full bathroom, we made do. Squishing three bodies on the bed and one body on the floor, it all worked out.
My first mate is down from the alcohol he consumed. I be sleeping across the top of the bed with my feet on the small table-like contraption. My first mate is right up against the wall and his head is right up against my right arm.
Sailor 1 is down on the ground, lying parallel to the bed and Sailor 2 is right next to my first mate and using my stomach as her pillow.
The meal served to us was nothing special. A simple brunch with a wide array of stale fruits and over-processed, typical breakfast proteins. One component is to commended, however, and that would be the pancakes. Small in size but fluffy and perfectly sweet.
This small journey to the unknown begins today with many adventures in the store. We have already lost a ship mate and we hope to all return safely. Captain's Log end.

Kyou Kara Ore Wa
Okay, next on my list is the latest one that has been added on my "To Follow" list and that is...Kyou Kara Ore Wa! Recommended to me by Kenn, I read it and got hooked. It took my two days to catch up to but now I'm keeping tabs on it like there's no tomorrow. So here goes...
Storyline: 9/10
It's different from what I have ever read. It's rare to read about two losers trying to make it big at a totally new school and succeeding so easily. It's hilarious and there's different stories and arcs each and every time. It always makes me laugh and it's just so stupid but it's hilarious! It's stupid and slapstick humour but you just can't help but laugh. The story though is like...going nowhere. At least, I don't feel that it is. It's just like a diary or daily recollections for the main character, Mitsuhashi. That's where the -1 came from.
Characters: 7/10
Formula characters with little to no development. Not that many surprises with what the characters are going to do in terms of whether it will be in character or not, but definitely many surprises in what they are specifically going to do. The art fits the story and the characters though =) They're just a really funny bunch xD
Overall: 8/10
Yeah, the overall score isn't so high but it's still funny. I recommend this if you're having a terrible day. It's so funny and outrageous! A high amount of profanity though but if you can see past that stuff then this is for you. Also, lots of fighting so it isn't boring :D It's really funny. That's all. LOL

Fireworks 2010 v.1
Every year, this happens in Vancouver. On Wednesday night, I attended the first showing of USA with my mom, my older brother and my older cousin. I must say, USA did a good job and it was really cute. Here's a picture. Took it off of my cousins Facebook since I'm too lazy to upload my own -o-;;
Then after, my mom and my brother needed to use the washroom so we went into Safeway along Robson. My cousin and I waited while they did their business and while they did, I saw the cutest thing ever. I saw a couple briskly walking towards the washroom while holding hands. It was a Japanese man and a Japanese woman and she was wearing...a yukata! Now, in Japan, during summer festivals, girls often wear yukatas x) And like, at the end of those summer festivals are fireworks. So you get the connection? Hopefully you do.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share this cute piece of information =)

Yandere Kanojo
Kinda getting lazy on the vacation stuff. Going to squeeze out as much manga as I can while the websites are still up. If you haven't heard yet, they're going to be closing down. I'll only be spotlighting ones that I REALLY liked. I went through a lot and am following alot. I'll take it slow one by one =) So the first one in this series (hmm...well second since I had 666 Satan already) is...
Storyline: 8.5/10
The storyline is rather formula but the way it's presented is SO cute! Opposite worlds coming together as one but with a nerd and a yankee instead. It's kind of messed up in it's own way but, like I said, the way it's presented make it seem like it's totally normal and not out of the ordinary. Humour level would probably be up there if I can read, understand and interpret raw Japanese scans since it seems that at least half of the jokes made are puns that aren't as funny when they're indirectly read because of language barriers. The score is rather high because it's just soooo funny :P
Characters: 9/10
Stereotypical characters with the nerd being cool and calm, a zealous classmate that has an inferiority complex, a very yandere lady and a completely normal sidekick/friend. However, the SM sister and extremely introverted father are different and the way that they're involved in the main characters' lives are much more prominent compared to other manga, thus, making it more interesting. These two characters probably have to be the ones that caused the score to go up to 7. And what caused it to go up to 8? Only one word. Manabu. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! x)!!!!! *squeal* :D I want a Manabu. He's so cool n_n There's something appealing about Manabu's character and design, despite it being rather common. What else...mmmm...there is little character development with most of the developments being rather predictable and formula.
Overall: 8.75/10
Although uncompleted, it is a good read. Definitely fun and lifts yours spirits up =) I really really like this manga n___n Like, actually. It's too funny and too cute. Reina is just so clueless and Manabu is too cool hahahaha. I'd recommend it to those having a bad day because it will turn your frown upside down. Yeah :D It's fun! ^_^

666 Satan
A break from the vacation stuff! After seeing this manga whenever I clicked on "Surprise me!" a bunch of times on www.onemanga.com , I finally decided to read it on Thursday. Or was it Friday.. ANYWAY. Point is, I read it and it's so good n_n
Storyline: 10/10
I love the storyline! It's kind of formula but the way that Seishi Kishimoto presents it and added bits of Jewish myths and whatnot make it better than your average action/shounen manga. It reminded me of Evangelion cause of the religious ties and I love Evangelion so yeah. Also, it ties in science into it as well. At first, the whole religious + science thing gets confusing but they explain it later on then it isn't so hard to get. The funny parts are put in at the perfect time and it is serious when it needs to be.
Characters: 8.5/10
The characters are rather stereotypical but I mashed character design in here too. There is character development but it's the type that you're used to so minus points for that. The art kinda reminds me of DBZ or Naruto o: I was kinda annoyed that Jio was shorter than Ruby even though they're the same age for the most part of the manga =/ But then Jio's evolved version looked kind of like Ryudo from Grandia 2, which is my favourite RPG <3, and I was like..LOOOVE <3 Hahaha. Also, the way the demons and angels were drawn was so well detailed. =) Abit of fan service here and there so it kinda throws you off abit @_@;;
Overall: 9.25/10
I loooooove this manga. It made me think, it made me laugh and it made me cry. It's definitely worth reading if you're into Evangelion. It isn't as dark but would remind you of it due to the similar themes of loneliness, father-less, fate-of-the-world-is-in-your-hands, etc. I hope that if they turn it into an anime, that it'll stay true to it's storyline but be even more dark and psychological with less fanservice. Wooooohooo. OKAY. So final verdict is that it's a really good manga and worth the read.
PS. If you wiki it, at the bottom, it says that it's a more mature and evolved version of Naruto. It does seem that way (I don't actually really follow Naruto but I understand what it's saying) and I agree with it. It's also not as drawn out. Plus, it's complete x)

Florida/Bahamas Vacation pt3
Day 4 - jul1
7:52am
Freaking hell D: It's so early and they say that it's already afternoon =_= Eyebags are huuuuge. I can feeeeeeel them.
9:03am
Woooh. Off to return the rental car and then to the Kennedy Space Center! Wooooooh. My kuya (big brother in Tagalog) is driving my aunt's car for now :p Anyway, he made a good observation. The houses and stuff look so stereotypically American. Each one has those mailboxes out on the front lawn and each house has a front lawn and back yard with older cars n_n It's rather interesting actually.
11:29am
Here at Kennedy Space Cetnre, I'm conducting a travel video experience of my travels to Mars! It's pretty funny :P
12:23pm
Wooooooooow. Talk about otakus. After seeing the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building), the first thoughts that come into the minds of my brother and I include: "Imagine if an Evangelion was revealed!" or "What if an Evangelion was inside?" and "What if they find Evangelions on Mars?" tsk tsk tsk.
In other news, someone special to me seems to be with me everywhere and it includs Florida. I'm not sure why they used that code for it but they did. [censored] !!! Hahahahaha. Although now fully accurate and similar to their RF ign, it's VERY close. Took a picture just for them :)
12:50pm
JFK looks like Steve Hicks. LOL.
1:18pm
It's actually getting cold inside these airconditioned areas n_n Lunch time at the Moon Rock Cafe!
3:29pm
We're on our way back now and boy, is it hot in this car or what! We didn't get to go to all that we wanted to but it's okay. My dad said that it's because we didn't leave early enough. I don't really mind but that's pretty mean :( Oh well.
In terms of fam issues, my sister was being a real bitch earlier. She said that we were thinking of making her look greedy by taking pictures only with the camera that I'm usually bringing around. I said that we weren't and asked her where she got that idea from or who told her. She replied by telling me that, "Obviously, nobody would say anything," and I was just so mad. Freaking hell =_= like, what the fuck? Is she THAT paranoid? =___=
7:45pm
Eating dinner at my aunt's house with her 3rd husband but without her. I rather feel bad for this man since he's alone most of the day. It's kinda awkward but then it isn't at the same time. I don't know o_O
Key Lime Pie isn't as good as I thought it'd be. It's too sweet :( it's like a sweetened version of the cake that Sergio's mom made for Valeria, except on Placebo.
9:40pm
I'm about to go to bed now since we're leaving at 4am tomorrow which means that I have to wake up at around 3-3:30am. In Vancouver time...
sleep = 6:40pm
wake up = 12-12:30am
leave = 1am
So this would be like a nap :P In any case, I swear R called me! He says no and I think he's been telling people but my caller id will prove it! It's really weird :/ but this is good because then a certain person will be turned off by the way I'm acting now (I hope) and I'll be inclined to stop liking said person. It's weird though since I feel like I'm in love with someone else already and I've begun liking this person. I don't know. Maybe it's just admiration, similar to what Tiffany had :o Admiration for the person who I'm hoping will be turned off by my attitude, not the latter person. Okaaaaay, getting off-topic again.
Uhm, my aunt has a dog, two birds, two chickens and a goldfish (I think) and each one has a peculiarity or interesting story in their own way.
dog = His name is Chico or Chito and he's a 4-month old Dachshund. He's very friendly and hyper x) He also bit off the wire cord of my aunt's cassette tape player LOL. He drinks water from the hose instead of his water bowl. I actually feel bad for this dog since he doesn't look like he's receiving much love :(
two birds = I think that they're supposed to be love birds but they act far from it. They don't sit next to each other that much AT ALL.
two chickens = My aunt said that once, she ran out of chicken feed so she fed them dog food and they laid two eggs the same day each. LOL. They're also fat :P
goldfish = It lives in a bowl with two shells and a real plant overflowing on top. Apparently, my aunt doesn't give it anything to eat and it somehow survived on it's own. I just thought that that's weird.
I watched an old mystery/cop-ish type movie earlier. It was really weird. This lady said she didn't think her husband would commit suicide but you find out in the end that he does. Apparently, he's "gay" and he couldn't live with it. He also killed one gay person and he was responsibly for the death of a gay mutilator somehow. It was REALLY weird <_<;;

In Vancouver time...
sleep = 6:40pm
wake up = 12-12:30am
leave = 1am
I watched an old mystery/cop-ish type movie earlier. It was really weird. This lady said she didn't think her husband would commit suicide but you find out in the end that he does. Apparently, he's "gay" and he couldn't live with it. He also killed one gay person and he was responsibly for the death of a gay mutilator somehow. It was REALLY weird <_<;;

Florida/Bahamas Vacation pt2
Day 3 - jun30
9:31am
Check out day for us but not quite yet. We're going to go hit up the nearest flea market to try and "milk" our stay here in Orlando. I wish we could have stayed an extra day longer so we could have went to Disneyland but it's okay. Universal Studios was definitely worth it :D Breakfast was the same but I think that I was really full from last night so I didn't get to eat much breakfast @@ Strangely enough, I dreamed of drinking milk and it caused me to have a craving for milk. I think that my body was telling me that it's in need of calcium.
10:04am
Eurgh. Up-side to a nurse sister = help in Biology. Down-side = nasty body facts. She told me about how when some guys are ill, their balls become the size of an orange. The big ones. Eurgh.
11:14am
Eating lunch at a diner now. It's like one of those typical diners you see in movies. Maybe not the silver trailer but the whole speaking accent and interaction and everything. It's pretty exciting x) I ordered a Texas Cheesesteak Melt and a coke with cherry flavour :o The drink is pretty yummy.
We were at the flea market just before this and I couldn't find a pasalubong (souvenirs. stuff you bring back from trips, etc. in Tagalog) for the youth :( It's pissing me off :(
11:42am
There's a chili's across the street D: I want to go eat there! One day, I'll eat at a full-sized, actual chili's restaurant. Stupid The Office. lol. Influence me to no end -o-
2:54pm
Sitting at a bathroom stall here in Walmart near my aunt's place, I have to poo :( My stomach is hurting and it's pissing the shit out of me, literally.
3:46pm
We're now at my aunt's house in Palm Bay. We rented a car and it took us around an hour to find it. Then, we chilled at Walmart abit since we were early. My aunt's husband, according to my brother, sounds like Yoda from Star Wars. luuulz.
5:50pm
Sitting here @ Capt. Hiram's eating dinner. Looks really yum yum and it's sea side, or rather, waterfront since it's right beside a river and not a sea :) My brother ordered a beer and he got id'd. lulz. He does look pretty young :p I also made a note to make sure that if I ordered iced tea, that itd' be unsweeted - or at least the non-unsweetened kind that the US usually does not serve. So from remembering this fact, I now have some raspberry iced tea. Not that bad but I'd prefer the cherry coke to the raspberry iced tea :p I plan to get some broiled fish, maybe cajun style with rice x) yum!
7:28pm
Man, I'm sitting here at the very back of an SUV next to my sister with my mother, father and brother in front of us. Now, in an SUV or a van, there's usually only one set of ventilation openings for the AC so the people up front and at the back often end up fighting between who gets what vent. In the Philippines mission trip last year, I went with some church youth and there was this one instance where L managed to sit on the front-er area of the back and pointed to all the vents to himself. The girls at the back, including me, yelled at him. It was really funny xD This similar situation is happening between my brother and I except it isn't as funny or dramatic. But still, it's reminding me of my youth and I miss them :(
10:00pm
Re-watching my debut again, it makes me miss P-Dawg :p silly boy. He said he'll take me to Miami, Florida one day but I can't really trust him when he says those things. It's too far off in the future. Plus, there was this one time when he said he'll take me somewhere that same week but he never did o.O It's okay. I don't mind. Anyway, I'm excited to talk to him again soon when I get back home. I'm actually not allowed to talk to him but meh. He isn't a bad person. He just rolls with a sketchy crowd and has a far-from-perfect past - and I mean far (or so I heard). But I really don't mind. He's a genuinely nice guy. Anyway, this really isn't trip related. I just got reminded of him n_n

Florida/Bahamas Vacation pt1
Hey guys! I'm back from vacation and I have two major events to blog about. My graduation and my vacation. I'll share my vacation first since I kept a nikki (diary for those of you who don't know. Mirai Nikki reference =P) all throughout. I want to upload it from my phone to this blog but coming up with this web page on my phone took forever. My thoughts, added stuff, translations, etc. are in italics =) Also, I'll break it up if the entry begins to get too long =P I realized that Day 3 is HUGE. Anyway, here goes!
Day 1 - jun28
12:15pm (Minneapolis time)
It's like fucking Mission Mexico! Exact same gate and a chili's too! With a 1hr wait in between the connecting flights xD
McD's has better kids meal toys =_=
Day 2 - jun29
9:25am (Orlando time)
Too hot. My mom made me wear sneakers :( Still so full from last night's dinner at Texas de Brazil @@! Sleeping was okay. Putol-putol (choppy in Tagalog) since it was hot and I was wearing only undies and a shirt :/ boooooo.
Man, I miss school so much already (it seems) that I even had a dream about it and how a normal day is like ._. Also, I was singing our grad song in the taxi on the way back from the restaurant and I started tearing up. I cried abit but not that much but I was still really sad.
wtf @ R. Calling me while I'm here. arghh
11:45am
Our first ride was Terminator 2. Not really a ride but more of a 3d experience. It was pretty fun :)
Oops. I forgot to write throughout this whole thing that we went to Universal Studios in Florida. ^^;;
1:25pm
Krustyland and MIB Alien Attack followed. Luckily for us, the lines aren't that long. Krustyland was similar to T2 except not 3d and the kart moved more. MIB was like the Disneyland Toy Story ride [in Hong Kong] where you get on a kart and shoot stuff :p I prevailed with 172k points xD Now in line for Jaws. We had some turkey leg and lots to drink. It's actually really hot. I hope to change later on into a spaghetti strap @@
1:42pm
Okay, it's been less than 20mins but I just HAVE to write this. Okay so in Math 12, I learned about sine and cosine waves. Now, the line in the inner area of Jaws does that snakey thing, to try and get as many people stuck in live/space/etc., and my brother pointed out that we only did one round and the first thought to come to my mind was "omg. He's right! We just went through one sine wave." Then, I thought of how there's the "30mins from here" sign to indicate the wait time from a specific point in the line and began wondering that maybe, by using sine waves and trigonometry, that that's how they calculated it. Then I started wondering how long it took us to get through one "sine wave" in this line and thought of the pi/period/b formula and the graph outline for a formula for a modified sine wave -____- Wow.
4:44pm
Now we're on the other side, the Island of Adventures and we're lining up for the newest and main attraction: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It says 90 minute wait n_n I sure do hope that it isn't! I was just outside a minute ago but now I'm in.
5:44pm
wooh. Just got out. It was pretty sweet but could have been better. But still pretty good. The whole wait though was amazing in itself. The inside of the castle was amazing, astounding, outrageous and very detailed. It was sooo beautiful and like, everything was just crazy! I loooooooove the inside. I wish I could have taken a picture but it's okay. The Hogwarts castle is something I definitely won't forget. <3
7:51pm
Dinner time! We pretty much went through all that we wanted to so my fam is good. Painful feet but it was fun, nonetheless. The Spider-man ride was pretty good. Similar to the HP one except it had some 3d stuff :) I bought a Hulk doll and Hulk keychain cause it was sooo cute! I'll give RdC the Hulk keychain since she has "HULKmode" moments :P I also got to see NBA City Restaurant earlier. My kuya bought me a wristband w/ Kobe's jersey. I'll end up using it as an accessory. I was planning to give it to a youth fam member but my bro paid for the wristband so I better not. Oh! And after HP, we got some Butterbeer xD It was REALLY sweet but what do you expect? It's butterscotch based :p Now, we be eating at Latin Quarter Restaurant. I hope it's yummy!

boooooooooooooooo =(
So I've been sick since...Wednesday. I would say Thursday but Wednesday was when I began feeling the symptoms - sore throat, stuffed nose in the morning, etc. It sucks cause I'm on a streak! Last year or two years ago, there was a time when I would get sick every two months but since my mom started this whole "drink freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice every morning and my dad continuing it with lemon since my mom left" thing in February, I have NEVER gotten sick since! Strangely enough, while I was out on Wednesday buying some corn and other stuff for this BBQ my friend was having in honour of Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs with the Lakers VS Celtics, a friend of mine called. We had plans the next day but we had to cancel because he began to feel sick. I began telling him about what my parents were making me drink and he seemed skeptical about it. I told him that I have not gotten sick so it must be working. Ironically, I got super sick on Thursday night. -o- I'm still not well yet but I did get considerably much better on Friday (but only on Friday it seems since I went back to medium sickness yesterday and today).
Anyway, here are Izzy's go-to remedies to getting healthier:
1. SLEEP for at LEAST 16 hours the first day.
-> Like I said, I got considerably much better on Friday despite having such a terrible night on Thursday. My cold was gone the whole Friday!
2. Neocitran
-> Love this stuff. Relieves the stuffy nose =)
3. Tylenol Extra Strength
-> Helps you sleep longer
4. Buckley's
-> The menthol in it clears the sinus area, thus allowing you to breathe better.
-> I know it tastes horrible but it works. Okay? Suck it up and don't be such a fucking pussy.
5. Hot water w/ sliced ginger. and lots of it.
-> Water is always good but ginger gives it that extra kick. Didn't they say that ginger is good for you anyway? =P
6. Warm clothes
-> I always wear a scarf, thick socks and long sleeves to bed whenever I'm sick whether it's summer or not. It helps to sweat it out o: Especially when you have a fever
7. Tissue
-> Obviously! To blow your nose and wipe with =)
8. Linen change
-> Indeed. Change your linens after to get rid of the bacteria in your room -o-;
-> Cleaning your actual room helps too!
And there you have it! I hope you guys take this advice in the future (or some of it) and get better quicker =)
I'll be posting again soon regarding the NBA finals + that day and my upcoming grad! ^_^

Wow..seriously?! I'm such a pig =__=
Okay so Saturday..I had like, 3 birthday parties to attend =_= Then today, I went to eat at Thai Garden with my fam after watching the NBA playoffs ._. Sad LA lost but they'll come back in home court! =D So here's a debriefing of Saturday:
Lunch: All-You-Can-Eat @ Kingsway Sushi [12-2PM]
WOW. All you can eat Japanese overload much?! Crazyyyyyy! It was a birthday party for these two little cute kiddies. Two sisters, one turned 6 and the other turned 4. SOOO cute! x) Their birthday cake was to die for. The parents got it from this cupcake place so yeah. Cream cheese frosting in between and a perfect buttercream frosting. Normally, I hate buttercream icing/frosting cause it's too heavy and think and just gross =/ But this time, it was perrrrrrfect!
Dinner: Home party @ Surrey [7-8:30PM]
Okay so this one was pretty boring =( I didn't eat that much since I was still so full from the day before AND lunch @_@ Also, I wasn't too fond of their family because they kinda seem nosy to me =/ I just really wanted to get out. Luckily, my youth fam bam saved me just in time! Thanks to my dad for being so nice about it =)
Late night: Home party @ Langley [9:30-11:30PM]
One of my youth fam had her birthday last week and we went to her house and celebrated along with her family. We were pretty late but we still managed to be there and not be TOO late. We bought 20 ice cream sandwiches and 20 candles and then we stacked them in a pyramid of 6,5,4,3,2 and yeah. Douche cake apparently o_O But yeah, it was fun =)
Late LAATE night: Boston Pizza's @ Surrey [11:30PM-1:15PM]
We left her house with everyone that came and met up with this other guy at BP's. Apparently, he was really hungry so yeah. Not many people ate. L beside me bought some Pizza Bread. C to L's right bought some NY style cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Yum yum. Had a bite of it =P Then N (the hungry guy) had some Chicken Thai Bites and some pasta dish. RdC had something...totally didn't pay attention and then R had some Apple Crisp dessert. Anyway, while they were eating, W and I were playing Jenga. It got pretty heated. Like, we had 4 or 5 single blocks in a row n_n It was funny too cause I used my long nails to hammer at some blocks wahahhahaha. Then it fell on him. We played again with 3 people this time and the tower collapsed on W. H and I won =D
And yeah. C drove me home. Poor dude was so tired that he wasn't tired at all @_@; I owe him big time. In any case, I'll give profiles of my friends in a post sooner or later =) They're all very cool people!

Can I eat anymore?! -__-
So...another eating post. Talk about crazy haha. I do have pictures but I'm too lazy to upload them D: Okay so tonight, I chilled with the youth fam bam again. We were gonna do Korean BBQ at this place near Coquitlam Centre but they doubled the prices since I was last there =_= Pissed me off. Anyway, we ended up at ASAHI in Port Coquitlam beside the 7-11. All the guys and I went with the all-you-can-eat while these four other girls went with the usual chicken teriyaki (seriously guys? EXPAND YOUR PALATES. FUCK D: there's other things than chicken teriyaki =__= ) Yep. All-you-can-eat Japanese.
At the end, this guy named JR mixed his over wasabi'd soy sauce with the ginger that was not touched and the raining mound of wasabi on this huuuge plate where all the makis were placed (the restaurant really piled high on the garnish n_n ) and I ended up daring R to eat a part of it. JR got him to eat a teeny piece but I called him a pussy when he refused to eat an even bigger portion and he ended up eating it. Crazy boy hahahaha. n_n;;
We had slurpees afterwards cause the waitress couldn't hear my voice and we were all really thirsty by the time we left =( Then we chilled at M's place cause it was nearby and we played some CoD4, took pics on M's iMac and made some videos. JR and L passed out hahahaha xD I managed to stay up with W and R was half and half. Our hosts M and IA HAD to stay awake of course but yeah. ORP came in somewhere with her two cousins. Kinda awk. Didn't really talk to her <_<; But yeah...
Cost around $24 tonight. Pretty good. Just that my stomach is soo full and it's gurgling and whatnot @_@; I did not even feel like this last week after that large BP pizza. The efff?
At the end, this guy named JR mixed his over wasabi'd soy sauce with the ginger that was not touched and the raining mound of wasabi on this huuuge plate where all the makis were placed (the restaurant really piled high on the garnish n_n ) and I ended up daring R to eat a part of it. JR got him to eat a teeny piece but I called him a pussy when he refused to eat an even bigger portion and he ended up eating it. Crazy boy hahahaha. n_n;;

Roman numerals def ain't working out
I give up on the roman numerals. Too hard n__n
So today, I had to undergo a gum grafting procedure. For those of you who don't know what it is or can't make out what it is just by the name, here's a link to a website explaining what it is.
It's been about 9hours since the end of the procedure. After 3 hours of napping, I found two small patches of blood + saliva on my pillows. Probably from drooling while sleeping haha. I did not feel much pain at all when I woke up so it isn't that bad. Took me about an hour to eat my dinner which consisted of a mix of brown rice and white rice and beef caldereta (a Filipino dish. kind of like beef stew but with a different taste). I cut up the beef in a few different sizes to test my limits on chewing and eventually found the perfect size! A .125mm^2 cube lolololol. After a few bites, the pain kicked in and it really hurt T_T; Not sure how but yeah. Eventually, things are okay now =) Def some minor swelling but it is not noticeable at all.
No pictures to show because that's just gross.

Just got back from eating out with the youth fam bam. They came over and we had practice since we're performing tomorrow at another church. Started around 8PM and ended around 10PM then we went out to eat at Boston Pizza which lead to my now, 3-month pregnant look-alike stomach -o-;
So, 11 of us (originally 13 but 2 left) were sitting there wondering what to eat then this conversation came up across the table.
R: Dude, I should order a large pizza.
W: You totes should dude! But you probs can't finish it.
I: Are you kidding me? He ate a large piece of steak AND finished off J's wings two weeks ago. He can finish it.
W: Dude, did you know in sushi, he can eat $23 worth?!
I: Pshh. $23? That's not alot. Pshhh.
W: Oh yeah?
I: Yeah. Y'know what, I'll order one large pizza too.
W: Okay. It's a competition then between R and I.
R: WHAT?!
Then yeah. We had more back and forths then I eventually got persuaded into doing it.
Guess who won?
:D
6/12 slices for me.
9/12 slices for R.
But R gave up.
So I win! :D
Yeah. That's actually really gross. I don't know if guys are turned off by that or if they like girls who can eat a lot <_<; Yeah. LOL. Add another 5 lbs. to the already 10 lbs. that I gained this past few months -___-;
Anyway, I love my youth fam bam =)
Coming up soon...

Okay so another update. FINALLY. hahaha. This will be about my debut which was my 18th birthday party. So here's some background information:
It's a Filipino tradition that when a girl turns 18, she celebrates it with a HUUUGE party. So big that it's comparable to a wedding, but still not quite as big but you get the gist right? There is the debutante, which was me, and I had an escort to follow me around for most of the night. It can be a boyfriend or a close friend or a cousin. It just has to be a guy hahaha. Anyway, there are two mandatory components to this party and it is the 18 Candles and the 18 Roses. The 18 Candles are the Debutante's closest relatives, friends, Godmothers and aunts and just really close ladies in general who will give her some words of advice or say something about her. The 18 Roses are the 18 special guys in her life whether it be friends, cousins, family, schoolmates, etc. who dance with her and they symbolize how they're going to protect her and whatnot. Yaget? Also, the father has to be the first dance in the 18 roses and the escort is the last. That is a MUST. Anyway, another component, that isn't as mandatory but still pretty important, is the Cotillion. The traditional cotillion is composed of 9 pairs. The debutante and her escort and 8 pairs of her closest guy and girl friends. These people are also included in her 18 Roses and 18 Candles. They are also the participants closer to the debutante's age, obviously =P Aaand I think that's it for the background info =) Now, here's my experiences for that day!
Morning 8-12ish
--> church
--> Pathfinder investiture
--> boring
--> getting nervous because we should've been at the make-up by then @_@
--> shower! hahaha
Afternoon 1-3ish
--> hair + make-up @ Gii Bii Studio
--> going back home to fetch the clothes
--> freaking out because the event was starting soon
--> calling people to check if they're ready or not
Pre-part 4-6
--> more calling people to see if they're making their way to the location
--> freaking out over decorations, last minute arrangements
--> trying to practice but everyone never really came on time
PARTYYY 7-1030
--> fun
--> stressful
--> unforgettable
--> LOVED the decorations. so simple..well kind-of. LOTS of balloons for sure x)
--> escort = doki doki
--> no crying though =_= I thought that the parent speech was going to make me sad but noOoOoOOOOOoo
--> 18 Candles = funny. one really LOOONG speech by this older lady. my Godmother repeated "Don't do what other teenagers are doing" like..3 times LOL
--> 18 Roses = @___@;; my dress kept on going down T_T; it got so bad that you could see the tops of my fake boobies xD;;
--> escort dance/waltz = worse but not AS bad. he was so sweet as to pull it up for me and I felt so safe in his arms ><
--> didn't get to eat much though I heard the food was great
--> youth singing = closest I got to crying
--> opening vid = so cute xD I'll never forget it
--> so many people came @_@
--> cotillion was totes hilair xD despite messing up quite abit, it was really fun =)
--> over-all just really fun ^__^
After party 11-1245
--> dancing was fun!
--> music wasn't the best though
--> downed a shot or two but didn't affect me that much
--> LOTS of dancing
--> my escorts fam stayed the latest in terms of guests (till 1245AM ish)
--> all we did was dance xD
--> lots of misleading pictures out there n_n;
--> yeah, just lots of dancing
--> dancing circle thingy going on =P
After all was said and done... 1-4
--> my escort phoned me and we just talked. and talked and talked till around 4AM haha
--> opened presents (going to post a picture up later when I find the camera =__=)
--> yeeep. =)
So yeah. Over-all, the party went REALLY well. Even though not everything that we wanted to happen happen, everything was just great. Most people wouldn't have noticed otherwise anyway since they don't know about it. It was definitely a night to remember for me and I'm still feeling the rush =P It's been 2 weeks already but I'm still all giddy and happy about it xD! Weeeeee. The stress and frustrations was definitely worth it =)
I don't actually have any photos myself. They're all from other people =( I stole a few both will only post two. Uhm, yes. My entrance dress is the yellow one and my dance/18 Roses dress is the black one (ewww. arm fat). Just some pics w/ my escort hehe.
Yepperz! =) And that's my summary.
In other news...
I'm following the NBA Playoffs 2010. I knew the Celtics would win the Eastern Conference Finals against Magic =P Now, to wait for the Lakers to close up their series tomorrow against the Suns and we're off for the Finals!!! I'm so stoked. It'll be so epic hehehehe.
